Day 1 : Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Pick-up and transfer to a
hotel. An afternoon tour
around Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, features the
Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Thien
Hau Temple and a lacquer
workshop. Overnight
at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat (B) ~ 295 km
The northbound journey by motorcycling begins as we depart Ho
Chi Minh and pass through the many tea and coffee plantations to
the hill station
of Da Lat, sometimes
known as the " City of Eternal Spring". The riding is long but
views are fantastic. On arrival we can soak up the cool climate
as much as we want by spending our time to wander around and
catch our first glimpse of the town. The influence of the French
is prevalent since Da Lat was founded as a hill retreat for the
colonials to escape the oppressive heat of the coastal plains
and the Mekong Delta. This charming town is set around a lake
and surrounded by forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside.

Day 3 Da Lat –Nha Trang (B) ~
140 km
In the morning, motor biking trip to Nha
Trang (185km)
through the Phuong
Hoang Pass by
motorcycle. On arrival, visit the Po
Nagar Towers (built
from the 7th to the 12th century), a compound of brick towers on
a hillock facing the picturesque mouth of the Cai River.
Then onwards to Long
Son Pagoda to
admire the huge white statue of Buddha seated on a lotus
blossom, which is visible from all over the city. The rest of
the day is shopping at the Dam
Market. Overnight
at the hotel in Nha Trang.
Day 4 : Nha Trang (B,L) ~ 185 km
Ride to Cau Da
Jetty for a day
cruise to Tam Islet and Mun
Islet. The water is clear and the marine life is diverse for
snorkeling and sunbathing. Optional activities include scuba
diving, jet skiing, wind surfing & parasailing on Tam Islet.
Lunch of seafood is served on board. Overnight
at the hotel in Nha Trang.
Day 5 : Nha Trang – Quy Nhon (B) ~ 240 km
Morning after breakfast, motorcycle across picturesque coastal
plains to Qui Nhon (240km),
formerly called Cha Ban, the Cham
capital from the
10th to the 15th century. Have a short rest for refreshment &
refueling. The afternoon is leisure on the beach. Overnight
at the hotel in Qui Nhon.
Day 6 : Quy Nhon - Hoian (B) ~ 290 km
Motorcycle to Sa
Huynh (110km).
Have a short rest for refreshment & refueling at Sa Huynh.
Onwards toQuang Ngai (70km),
known for the My
Lai massacre in
1968. In the afternoon, onwards to Hoi
An (110km), a
trading post of seafaring Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese
merchants several centuries ago. In the evening, enjoy a folk
show in an ancient house. Overnight
at the hotel in Hoian.
Day 7 : Hoi An -
My Son - Danang (B) ~ 140 km
Continue our motor biking trip to My
Son, a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1999.
Here was the site of the biggest Cham intellectual and religious
centre which also served as a burial ground for Cham monarchs
from the 4th to the 13th century. Then continue our motor biking
to Danang and
onwards to Hue(110km)
with a stop-over on the Hai
Van Pass overlooking
the scenic Lang Co
lagoon. Overnight
at the hotel in Hue.
Day 8 :
Hue (B)
The morning sightseeing focuses on the
Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in
accordance with the principles of geomancy, and the Dong
Ba Market, famous for its conical hats in Vietnam. Then
overland to the tombs of King
Khai Dinh (ruled
1916 – 1925) and King
Minh Mang (ruled
1820 – 1840) where the contrast between Oriental and Occidental
architectures is shown. Take a boat
ride on the Perfume River toThien
Mu Pagoda, surveying rural landscape and local activities at
sunset. Overnight
at the hotel in Hue.
Day 9 : Hue- Phong Nha - Dong Hoi (B) ~
210 km
Motorcycle to Dong
Ha (75km). Take a
short rest for refreshment & refueling. Cross the
former demilitarized zone (DMZ) along
the Ben Hai River (1954
– 1975) where vestiges of fierce battles can be seen including
the ruins of the old Quang
Tri Citadel, Dong
Ha Town, and Hien Luong
Bridge. Onwards to Phong Nha cave, take a boat
ride on the Son River to
spectacular Phong Nha Caves comprising Bi
Ky Cave & Cung Dinh Cave. Steps lead to superb Tien Son
Cave (1km), the
most magnificent limestone cave in Vietnam and just opened in
2000. Riding to Dong Hoi (50km). Overnight
at the hotel in Dong Hoi.
Day 10 : Phong Nha – Tan Ky (B) ~ 280 km
Ride on Ho Chi
Minh Highway until Pho
Chau where we
stop to visit the Ho Chi Minh Trail victory monument which
is in fact the real starting point of our Ho Chi Minh Trail
ride. And continue our riding, passing tea plantations, rice
fields, ethnic minority villages, mountains, valleys and streams
before arriving in Tan
Kylate afternoon. Overnight
at the hotel in Tan Ky.
Day 11 : Tan Ky – Mai Chau (B,D) ~ 290 km
Breakfast and we start riding on Ho Chi Minh Highway via the
beautiful scenery of Bai
Chanh, Ngoc
Lac and Ba
Thuoc, Arrival in Cam
Thuy town, and continue our journey through Cuc
Phuong National park, hit the Nho
Quan area of Ninh
Binh province where we ride the on smaller path to Mai
Chau, a chain
of villages, farms and huts spread out over a large area at a
height of 400m and inhabited by white Thai. Overnight
at the house on stilt in Mai Chau.
Day 12 : Mai Chau - Hanoi (B) ~
145 km
Morning veave for Hoa
Binh (70km)
through the Cun Pass by
motorcycle. Visit Muong
hill tribe villages in
natural lakeside surroundings. Take a short rest for refreshment
& refueling in Hoa Binh. In the afternoon, onwards to Hanoi
(75km), we will visit the
Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum before
arrival in Hanoi. Overnight
at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 13 :
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Morning
depart by vehicule (car/ bus) to Halong
bay through the
lush of Red River vegetation.
Arrival Halong bay pier where we board our
junk cruise for a
stunning cruise amongst towering limestone backdrop
while enjoying lunch on board. The cruise will take you by
exotic islets with shapes of Dog,
Incense Urn, Sail, Fighting Cocks, which are naturally
formed by process of erosion between the see water and lime
stone mountains. Arrive at the Surprise
Cave and explore
the by rowing boat
to Luon cave, this cave is a natural tunnel thrusts through
a mountain's foot and leads to an exotic lagoon surrounded by
mountains covered by dense jungle. Seafood
dinner and overnight on board.
Day 14 :
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B)
Rising to
the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for an early morning
dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea. This
morning we continue to move around the bay to find more secluded
areas. Brunch will be served onboard. The junk will be near us
at all times serving as a back up vessel for those that require
it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before
transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey to
Hanoi. Overnight
at the hotel in Hanoi .
Day 15 :
Hanoi – Departure (B)
Spend last minutes for downtown shopping (ceramics,
silver-carvings, silk,...) or at leisure before check-out.
Transfer to the airport for departure. End of our service
